Our board is comprised of 51% consumers of our services. The other 49% include attorneys, accountaints, business administrators, dentists, educators, physicians, among others.

Would you like to be a Wake Health Services Board member?  The Wake Health Services, Inc. Board of Trustees guides the organization to act in the public interest and meet the needs of the community.

The Board is responsible for:
- Establishing goals and monitoring outcomes of the organization.
- Monitoring the organizational performance in fulfilling the mission of the organization.
- Assuring the organization has the necessary resources and is fiscally healthy.

Time Commitment: 
- Board members are elected to serve for a three-year term. 
- Board members are required to attend twelve Board meetings per year.
- Board meetings are held monthly, on the fourth Monday of each month, at 5:30 p.m.
