Sponsors, Funding & Support
Wake Health Services relies on the generous support of the community to fulfill the mission of providing healthcare to the underserved.
As a nonprofit Community Health Center, approximately one-third of our budget depends on grants and donations. We receive a federal grant that covers a quarter of our costs and regulates many aspects of our services. Two-thirds of funding comes from patient revenue, which includes reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, or payments made through our discount program. More than one-quarter of our patients are enrolled in our discount program to fulfill our mission of providing health care to the underserved.
Businesses and Organizations
Wake Health Service partners with dozens of organizations and utilizes hundreds of local vendors to deliver our services throughout eight medical practices. These organizations offer nonprofit discounts or donate supplies, services and funds to help us keep our costs down. We are very grateful for their ongoing support.
