Sherri' James-Surgers,MD, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sherri’ James-Surgers comes to Wake Health from Texas, and brings more than 14 years of diverse leadership and practical experience as both a medical director and a practicing clinician. She managed physicians and clinicians in several medical sectors including community/public health, rural medicine, occupational health, solo-private and large group practice. Married with three children, Dr. James-Surgers recently completed a Masters Degree in Healthcare Management. "In addition to my kids, the accomplishments I'm most proud of are improving patient outcomes and patient satisfaction, and coaching medical staff."
