Christopher Byrd, MD
Dr. Byrd joined WHSI in July 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from the North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC) in 1995 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the East Carolina School of Medicine (Greenville, NC) in 1999. He is board certified in Family Practice.
Cecilia Gordon, DO
Dr. Gordon joined Wake Health in November, 2008, at our Rock Quarry Road location and currently practices at Apex Family Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida (Orlando, FL) in 1996 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) in 2000. Dr. Gordon completed a one-year internship in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta, GA) in 2001 and a two-year residency in Family Medicine at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital (Greensboro, NC) in 2003. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Gordon speaks Spanish fluently.
Amy Ford, PA
Amy received her BA from Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC) in 1990, her Masters of Arts in Counseling and Community Psychology from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY) in 1996, and her Masters of Health Science and Physician Assistant Certificate of Completion from Duke University (Durham, NC) in 2010. She previously worked in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and has a variety of articles published in major medical and psychiatry journals.
