Mother & Daughter Place in Duathlon

Congratulations to Dr. Jill Wright (New Bern Ridge Pediatrics) and her daughter Catherine Ambrose for participating in the Rambling Rose Triathlon on Sunday, May 23^rd.   A blowing rainstorm cancelled the 250 yard swim just as Dr. Wright was about to enter the pool, but both ladies completed  the 9 mile bike ride and 2 mile run. Catherine was 3rd in her age group and Dr. Wright was 4th in her age group! Way to go, ladies!

For the record, this was Dr. Wright’s second triathlon, Catherine's 3rd, and their first triathlon together.  Count on there being more to come!
