1. From Raleigh: Take Highway 401 South to Fuquay-Varina.
Go to the 2nd Stoplight and take a left onto N. Judd Parkway
(there is a KFC, Amoco, Fidelity Bank and Burger King at the
corners). Southern Wake Family Medicine is located in the
Southern Regional Center. It is the 5th building on the left
across from the post office.
2. From I-40: Get onto US 1 South to Holly Springs/Fuquay
exit. Take a left at the exit, where there will be two forks
in the road. Stay to the left at both forks. Cross railroad
tracks and take a left at the stop sign. Go to the 1st light;
turn right onto N. Judd Parkway (at KFC). Southern Wake Family
Medicine is located in the Southern Regional Center. It is
the 5th building on the left across from the post office.
3. Durham - Using Highway 55: Keep on Highway 55 - past Apex
and Holly Springs. You will come to two forks in the road.
Stay to the left on both forks (Broad Street.); you will come
over some railroad tracks and an immediate stop sign. Take
a left at the sign (this is Main Street) to left at the 1st
stoplight, this is Main Street and N. Judd Parkway (you will
see KFC, Amoco, Burger King and Fidelity Bank on the corners)

Dr. Johnston received his undergraduate degree from Wheaton
College (Wheaton, IL) in 1992 and his Doctor of Medicine degree
from Indiana University School of Medicine (Indianapolis,
IN) in 1996. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine
and Pediatrics. Dr. Johnston completed his internship and
residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University
of North Carolina (Chapel Hill, NC) in June, 2000. He joined
WHSI in July, 2000. Dr. Johnston speaks Spanish and is interested
in the cross-cultural aspects of a medical practice since
he had spent time during his training in Pakistan and Ecuador.
Dr. Blakeley received his undergraduate degree from Northeast
Missouri State University (Kirksville, MO) in 1984 and his
Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri
- Columbia School of Medicine (Columbia, MO) in 1988. He is
board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Blakeley completed
a three-year categorical residency in Internal Medicine at
Ohio State University Hospitals and Clinics (Columbus, OH)
in 1991 and his post-graduate research fellowship in General
Medicine at Duke University (Durham, NC) in 1994. Before joining
WHSI in July, 1994, he worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor
of Internal Medicine at Ohio State University Division of
General Internal Medicine (Columbus, OH), and as an Associate
of Medicine at Duke University Division of General Internal
Medicine (Durham, NC).
Dr. Ugochukwu received his undergraduate degree and his Doctor
of Medicine degree from the University of Benin (Nigeria)
in 1982. He is board certified in Family Practice. Dr. Ugochukwu
is also board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Family
Practice in the United Kingdom. He completed his internship
and residency in Family Practice at MetroHealth Medical Center
(Cleveland, OH) in December, 2003. Dr. Ugochukwu joined WHSI
in September, 2004. Prior to joining WHSI, he has worked as
a physician at Person Family Medicine Center (Roxboro, NC).
