Management:

Penella M. Washington, Chief Executive Officer: Penny joined WHSI in September 1996, as Chief Operating Officer and assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer in August 1998. She received her undergraduate degree in Zoology in 1978 and a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration in 1980 from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). 

William W. Massengill, Jr., Chief Operating Officer: William joined WHSI as the Director of Center Operations in January 2004 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in October 2006. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he received his MBA from Fayetteville State University and MSW from East Carolina University. 

Jacqueline M. Morlando, Chief Financial Officer : Jackie joined WHSI in July 2004 as Chief Financial Officer. She received her BS in Accounting in May 1986 and in 2004 became a CPA in North Carolina.  

Shelly Rickert, DDS, Dental Director: Dr. Rickert joined WHSI in August 2003. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University (Durham, NC) in 1990 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry (Chapel Hill, NC) in 1994.
